AVSAR Additive was established in 2005 in Istanbul by Dr Yakup Avşar (MD). Dr Avşar has been a plastic surgeon for over 14 years and is well known for his work in the field of aesthetic surgery. His experience has enabled him to bring the design and manufacture of high performance microsurgical instruments and aesthetic surgery equipment to the world.
AVSAR Additive is one of the very few organisations in the world to use 3D printing for design and mass production.
One of the distinguishing features of AVSAR Additive is its innovations in the field of video-endoscopic aesthetic medical. 10 years ago, Dr Avsar designed a micro-rhinosculpturing set and video-endoscopic facilities for rhinoplasty, enabling the effective use of micro-cutting and micro-scraping tools. These designs have helped to eliminate the uncontrollable hammer force in shaping the bone structure of the nose and septum during the septo-rhinoplasty procedure.
Rino-sculpture set, disposable micro-motorised hand instruments, micro-cannulas, 3D printed simulation masks used before and after the procedure and even robotic aesthetic medical equipment are among the products designed, manufactured and even assembled in our company.
