These blades were designed by Yakup Avşar to be used under video-endoscopy. Hump reduction, medial osteotomy, Aufricht triangle modification, transverse and lateral osteotomies are performed with these blades. Split-style osteotomy is a surgical method of making a half-thick incision in the lateral nasal walls while maintaining the stability of the bony nasal roof. This method was first introduced by Dr. Avsar.
